T H A N K S

First and foremost, I have to say a humongous thanks to Stepan for posting the previous entry and the correction to the 042802 entry......I had so many good intentions today. I was going to clean house, organize my closets and cook a delicious meal. These are all items that crossed my mind early this morning as I listened to a thunderstorm getting closer and closer. I first woke at around 4:30AM. I heard a noise. At first I could not quite determine what it was. When I realized it was thunder and it was getting louder and louder, I thought, "I cannot get up, this is the best time to stay in bed!" So, in bed I stayed. At around 6:30, I was rewarded with thunder, lightning, rain and the best sleep I have had in a while. I did hear my paper hit the walk in front at around 5AM and thought, I hope the guy double-bagged it. I even toyed with the idea of running out quickly and retreaving it, but dismissed that thought as I drifted back to sleep. I finally got out of bed at around 7:30. The paper was in the house and dry. I made coffee and breakfast and began my normal friday morning routine (reading the paper, getting online, working the crossword puzzles and jumble). It was in reading the paper that my good intention went awry. Dillards outlet was having an additional 50% off their already 75% off prices on ladies ready to wear. I spent 5 hours there looking for the best deals I could find. 5 hours! I could have cleaned my house at least twice during that time! But no! My house is still dirty. In retrospect, I do have $850 retail clothing, for which I only paid about $95. But my house is still dirty. Tomorrow, my intentions are: 1. to go for my fitness swim. 2. clean house! Good intentions are a bitch!
