What a busy day I

What a busy day I have had today. I got up at 6AM, ate breakfast, cleaned up and left for a 7 o'clock appointment at Don Davis for some routine maintenance on the Toyota. I left DD at around 9:15AM and swung by Costco to refuel my almost empty gas tank. Then I picked up Jerry and we went shopping. We are on a hunt for an umbrella for our pool deck. The current one, although has served us well for four years, did not quite make it through the last wind storm we had recently. It now suffers from several broken ribs and a torn canopy. We looked at Sams Club and Costco. Sams had one that is very similiar to the one we already have. It is lacking the 4" overhang that Jerry seems to think is quite important to providing us with sufficient shade. I kinda think we need to tear down the deck and build a pool house (complete with shower and kick-butt stereo system and wet bar). Maybe after tonight's Texas Lotto drawing I can have my way...I spoke to Meredith today. She is kinda in a funk and is blaming it on the alignment of the planets. However, she did tell me a cute story about being in a coffee house in NYC and in line in front of her at the register was Ernie Hudson. He was humming along with the music that was being played. Meredith had to fight the urge to ask him "who you gonna call?"...I know this is boring today. Such is the life I live.
