We are having a wonderful time in Arkansas. Today we went spelunking(sp). We had a very informative guide who also performed majic tricks. The kids and adults were quite amazed at his skills. In the cave we saw three bats. They were hanging upside down from the ceiling of the cave. One was in an inset of the rock. It was quite amazing. The year round temperature in the cave is a constant 58'. I told Jenny that if she found herself to be the last person on earth it would be wise to find her way to this cave in the summer months to escape the horrendous heat. I think that if she were the last person on earth, there would probably be no electricity to power the A/C of the world. BTW, if you have not figured it out. The word of the day is amaze.
I am not quite sure why my tools are not here to highlight, italisize and make bold, but they are not. I think it must have something to do with netscape???
Posted by Rita at October 9, 2002 08:57 PMThat sounds like fun--I have always loved going in caves. I remember going in Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico when on a camping trip with my parents and the Mims. It, too, was amazing.
I'm sure you are right that it's a Netscape issue re your tools not being available.
