The most beautiful sunset I have ever seen

Tonight on my way home from work, I had the extreme pleasure of traveling in a westerly direction. This afforded me a view to the most profoundly beautiful sunset that I have ever seen. It was truly amazing. I wish I had my camera with me, I would have tried to capture it on film. Alas, my camera is in the shop and will not be ready for 3 weeks. So, I will have to rely on my failing memory, to recall just how pretty the sunset was tonight.

Computer problems

Is it a conspiracy? I do not know. I have had a multitude of problems on my computer tonight. I keep getting an error message that says the resources are low and one by one a request to close each and everyone of the programs I have running. I have added memory and a new printer recently. I did not defrag or run scan disk when I did this. My brother, Matthew, told me when you add new stuff or take off old stuff you should perform these two functions. So, in this order, I performed a disk clean-up, a disk defragmentation, and a scan disk. Things are running a bit more smoothly. However, when I did get back on the internet, I received a pop up ad asking me if I was experiencing computer problems and asking me to purchase, for $29.95, some software that would solve all my poor computer resource problems. Is it possible that this company was able to make my computer act poorly just so they could sell me their wares? And another thing! Do the anti-virus software developers send out all these viruses, so we will buy their anti-virus software? I think, that when I die, these will be some of the questions I pose to Saint Peter when I meet him at the pearly gates. Of course, the first question I pose will be: "Can I come in?"

I know what you mean about the sunsets, Mom. I've seen some really beautiful ones here in Austin. They really make you stop and think about all the good things in life, don't they?

It's probably not a conspiracy unless it's a virus. And I don't think the anti-virus sw makers have to send out viruses--there are plenty of people with nothing better to do keeping them in business.

The sunset sounds lovely. Seeing something like that can make everything around you feel fresh and special.
