Meredith has done it again. She has gone and gotten her name and quotes in an article in the Fort Worth Star Telegram. I knew she was going to be in it the paper today. So, I got up and started reading the paper looking everywhere for the byline of Gene Trainor in each and every page. Of course, I got side-tracked and read alot more of the paper than I normally would. I never found the story in the paper. So, I signed on the internet and went to the ST website and did a search for Meredith Lucio---and up pops the story. I am not sure if the paper's story included art---that is not normally included on the www version of the paper.
Posted by Rita at January 26, 2003 11:24 AMHer biggest culture shock was having to sell her pickup? Why do I all of a sudden here "Like a Rock" in the background and picture her in chaps and a cowboy hat throwing a block of hay into the bed...dust flying everywhere?
Posted by: Jfer at January 26, 2003 04:34 PMWell, as long as she remains "polite and amiable" we should all be happy :-)
Posted by: stepan at January 26, 2003 04:37 PMStepan's comment definitely made me smile.
Rita, did you pick me up a copy of the paper (or if not, could I have yours if you don't want it)? I hope you haven't lost the copy of the December article that you got for me, which is much appreciated. I printed it out from the web site but would still like the original. Maybe I'll try to get one here tomorrow--will let you know if I do. Thanks for posting the link so we could all read it.
