I am flying solo tomorrow. Yes, J and I are separating for our last day of work this week. I am driving to Vernon, Texas to pick up a job folder that we left there after we completed the required work. It is necessary to get the central office manager to sign it off. You know, it is the old "the job is not finished til the paperwork is done" routine. So, I am departing the metroplex at 7AM, driving to Vernon, retreaving the job folder, driving to Wichita Falls for the final signature meeting with the central office manager. I will mail the job folder back to Vernon and depart WF for Arlington when all is completed. I hope I get to eat lunch at mother's house while I am there...I just spoke with mom and it is a go for lunch. Looks like we will be having fried egg sandwiches---hmm, hmm, yummy. J is going to Pittsburg Texas to tie up some loose ends there. Pittsburg is the home of Bo Pilgrim and the very first airplane to achieve flight. It was about a year before the Wright Brothers flight. The Ezekiel is very proudly displayed in a museum in downtown Pittsburg. Actually it is a replica since the original was destroyed in an accident while it was being transported to the worlds fair.
