Mother has a tatting shuttle needle that she has promised to Margaret. She thinks that Margaret would be interested in it because it is an antique. If Margaret is truly interested in this item, she should post a comment stating this before Mother and I depart for Houston at the end of the month. If I learn to tat between now and then, I know I can convince Mother to give it to me.
Posted by Rita at May 15, 2003 09:33 PMExactly who is going to teach you to tat? I'm assuming it is to make lacy doilies, correct? I can't see Mother teaching you how. She never seemed to be the domestic type to me.
Posted by: Theresa at May 17, 2003 07:50 AMI seem to remember that Mother used to have a half-finished pillowcase mounted in a round hoop, for what? Embroidery, I guess. When I say "used to have", I mean for years. I don't think it ever did get finished.

I am making a baby shawl from a thirty-one year old pattern from Boye (item#7698) entitled "sweet dreams crib shawl". Is it possible that there is an error in row 4? I am having difficulty in having this come out correctly. Thank You for any information that you can provide.
Posted by: Paula Mc Kee at September 3, 2004 07:21 AMHello, I recently bough the rush'in'punch needle. It is a blue color. I have oly 1 needle, and would like to purchas another larger needle, and also a smaller needle for my rush'n'punch. I cannot get any needle threader to go through the punch, to thread it. My mother-in-law had a set of the old Boye circular knitting needles. ( From the 60's) After her death, I inherited them. In meantime, my daughter took up knitting with greatest pleasure. I gave these needles to her. Unfortunately, some of the points are missing. I think possibly the plastic sections in between the points. The points were aluminum. Does any one out there know where I could possibly purchase points #'s 2, 3,6? This would complete her set. Not to often do we get the chance to pass down such a great gift in all ways. Any information at all would be so much appreciated. My thanks in advance. You can email me directly with any suggestions to: Berube21@msn.com. I promise a confirmation wehen I check my email. PLEASE make the subject..BOYE CIRCULAR NEEDLES, LAB...Otherwise, I will automatically delete that email.. Again, many thanks.

With his ability to speak, sing, dance, and launch "water" balls, Smokey is a playmate that really interacts with your child during play. Under the age of 8 years, most kids don't understand that commercials are for selling a product.
Posted by: MaryTenderLOS at December 19, 2011 03:42 PMThere are times when you wish you had both hands free to work and light on the subject as well. There are three general purpose solutions. First is the old hold it in the mouth trick. This gets tiring after a while and is far from the best solution. it simply wont work with a larger flashlight. Second is a head strap which holds a small flashlight on the side of your head with an elastic strap. Third is a special purposed flashlight, the headlamp.

The Achilles Heel of the predecessors was the battery. But we re pleased to report that the new edition has improved significantly in that department. It can last for up to 3 weeks if you are using your gadget for one hour on a daily basis. Clearly, it all depends on things like frequency, length and what kind of stuff you do with your product. But overall, we re very pleased with the new battery of the Kindle.

Pancakes and kahlua French toast are great in their own right, but my favorites include the Cajun shrimp and cheesy grits special. Wow. Yes, theres a long wait so get in before 10am if you can. And tip well - - the waitresses are all fantastic!
Term used for runners in a competitive track meet. I Charlie think this is a stupid name. After all, so-called thinclads get to wear a tank top, shorts, and track shoes. Competitive swimmers only get tight racing trunks that border on public if Nike racing trunks were any smaller, theyd have trouble putting a SWOOSH on them!
