I am listening to a new CD. It is one that I burned. I started out all wrong. I became very frustrated. I called Jennifer. She got frustrated with my lack of know-how. Also, she was at work and had work related tasks to complete. We hung up and I took a look-see at the help section of the software for the burner. I still had this really frustrated feeling, so I walked away. I went shopping. There is nothing like a good little shopping trip to clear ones mind. Keeping in mind the bit of information that Jen had given me about the progression of burning a CD, I came home, closeted my purchases and went back to burning. It felt as if I were succeeding. I called Jennifer to let her know what was happening and she indicated that things looked promising. So, I now have a CD of some of my favorite music; and this new found knowledge. Thank you Jen for all your help.
Posted by Rita at October 24, 2003 05:36 PMYou could have asked me. I burn CDs all the time. What CD burner and software are you using? We bought the Iomega Hotburn and use WinMX for downloading.
Posted by: Theresa at October 25, 2003 12:29 AMWell done, Mom! I was extremely pleased when I saw the title for this entry on the Karlhub links page. Congratulations. I'm glad I could help.
Posted by: Jenny at October 25, 2003 12:47 AMCongratulations Rita! Now can you say ARRGH like the rest of us pirates?
BTW, I thought burning CDs was easy: select the songs in iTunes, put in a blank disk, push the burn button - voila! Oh darn, I forgot - you don't have a Mac! :-)
