The Corner

I am going to try to post, sporatically, anecdotes that will define a great part of my future:

A woman in her forties brought the baby into the examination room where
the doctor carefully checked the infant. "The baby isn't gaining enough
weight," said the doctor. "Is the baby breast fed or bottle fed?"
"Breast fed," the woman replied. The doctor then ordered her, "Strip
down to your waist, please." She did as she was told. After examining
her breasts thoroughly, the doctor said, "No wonder this baby is hungry.
You don't have any milk. "To which the woman replied, "I know, I'm his
grandma."

A great part of your future? Does that mean taking the baby to the doctor or stripping down to the waist?

I got a GREAT LOL out of this! And, if ever a laugh were needed, today was the day for me. Er...one of 'em, anyway.

Hmm, fantasies about doctors, huh? Does that mean if I visit you that I'll find a white doctor's coat hanging up in Jerry's closet?

I know you're going to be a wonderful Grandma, but don't you wish you were still in your forties? :)
