We had a wonderful weekend in Chicago celebrating Leah's Retirement from the US Navy Reserves. I have posted pictures at my webshots. There are two albums, here and here.

That was quick, Mom! You got lots of great pictures. One of my favorites is the closeup of Leah and Judy you took on Friday.
You did look like you were having fun in the airport. I'm almost sorry I missed it...almost!

Posted by: Cynthia at June 9, 2004 07:51 AMI wasn't a bit nervous - surprisingly. When I delivered my remarks, I actually found myself enjoying the experience. The big man is QMCS Leader who honored me by serving as the Master of Ceremonies - he is a master MC. I did make a purchase of two dozen roses at proflowers.com that were delivered to the Navy Lodge on Friday PM. For the rest, we went to CostCo - what a place for fresh flowers! There was excellent help putting the arrangements together - Eileen from Fairfax VA did a suberb job coordinating the centerpieces and bouquets. The centerpieces left the premises as the guests departed. It was a special day - am so sorry you and Patrick were unable to attend.
