On March 03, 2004 I wrote an entry entitled A Sad Tale I was talking to Debbie today and she reminded me that the contractor in question has since died of a heart attack. Evidently, he went to Oklahoma and gambled away the money paid to him by Debbie and others. So, instead of the law catching up with him...life caught up with him. Additionally, I asked Debbie what she intended to use the barn for and she informed me it would be more of a work shop. Cynthia asked about this in her comment to the original entry. Debbie has chalked up the loss to a bad experience and has hired a new contractor to complete the job.

You should have recommended Kevin for the job. He has always completed any side jobs that he has undertaken to do. :)
