My new heroine is Cynthia. She is the perfect hostess. An example of her perfection: The day the group sans Cynthia went to Harrahs arrived home to the aroma of a welcoming fireplace smell. We entered the house. There was no fire in the place. A bit later, Cynthia announced that we were having wine, cheese and crackers in the rock house. When we called from Harrahs to tell her we were on our way home we had awoken her. She immediately started spinning her majic. When we got home, Cynthia announced that we would retire to the rock house. Upon entering the rock house we were welcomed to an inviting fire in the wood burning stove, hence the fireplace aroma. Wine and cheeses were readied for us. We sat around and chatted and enjoyed the wonderful ambiance that is the rock house. This is just one example of the most amazing part of the visit I had in Kansas this past weekend. I do believe that the girls week is going to be such a treat for all.

Posted by: Leah at March 28, 2007 01:23 PMIt was a fun long weekend - the rock house and fire wouldn't have had any magic if you hadn't been there!
