Item 1) I wouldn't be worried about flying international. It's the domestic flights that don't get checked carefully.
Item 2) What embarassing items, pray tell, are you packing? ;-)
Item 3) You coming with us?!? Uh oh...
that's funny. I don't think twice about them looking in my stuff. I feel like it sets a good example when the terrorists see they are checking if a sweet-smiled, harmless Texas girl like me.
PS Leave *bob* at home, mom.
Posted by #1 Daughter at December 10, 2003 01:46 AMI just do not like the idea of strangers rifling through my unmentionables.
Posted by me at December 10, 2003 07:16 AMI can't say enough how excited I am that you're coming with us this year, Mom. I think you should bring "bob"...give the security screeners a thrill.
I'm crazy busy at work. See ya Friday. Love ya much.
Posted by "2nd in Birth Order Only" Daughter at December 10, 2003 07:18 AMToss aside your worries - the fun of the trip and seeing new places will make all your concerns seem insignificant. I too never worry about the overseas flights or security rifling through my bag - they've seen it all before!
Posted by Cynthia at December 10, 2003 08:54 AMWho's "bob"?
Posted by Patrick at December 10, 2003 01:34 PMOh Daddy, can't you guess? (It will make you blush--that's how you'll know if you guessed correctly.)
Posted by Elizabeth at December 10, 2003 05:25 PMIt won't make Daddy blush - c'mon Rita, 'fess up.
Posted by Cynthia at December 10, 2003 05:50 PM"Bob" also has me befuddled.
