That is hilarious that you did not recognize your own voice! I can't believe you woke up not one but two of your sisters over that. I bet Leah & Margaret are counting themselves lucky right now.

Grama often does funny things in the middle of the night. While staying at my house, she once woke up, couldn't read the clock, so she went ahead and showered and dressed. Only then did she discover it was about 2 a.m.! When she was here the last time, I told her that when she came to stay with me again for any length of time, I'd get one of those alarm clocks for deaf people (something like this at http://justbekuz.com/rpm-cart/product.phtml?ProdID=175). In the meantime, I instructed her not to go anywhere near the shower unless I had personally woken her up!

I'm surprised as well that you were able to wake me. I went to bed around 11:30, I guess all the weather warnings wore me down. I did hear the phone ringing, but realized someone had left the phone in the living room and by the time I arrived out there my cell phone had begun to ring. Since I was totally awake by your call I stayed up until 8:30am watching movies on TV, then I decided I had better try to get some more sleep or I would be zonked later in the day. Do you know I slept until 1:30 in the afternoon?? I'm happy to say that my sleep schedule is back to normal. I'm on vacation this week and woke up at 9:00am. Yay!!

You actually didn't wake me up at 4:00 a.m. Courtney had done so 5-10 minutes earlier - she and a friend had come to Katy for the week-end to go to Osama's pool party. Courtney let her friend have her bed/bedroom and Courtney was in the TV room which is above our bedroom. The air compressor was off, we didn't have our ceiling fan on, so the sound of the TV woke me up. I went upstairs to ask Courtney to turn the volume down and I had just gotten back into bed when the phone rang.
